| On the territory of the LLC “Kamaz-Trans-Service” on the 15th of October 2002 the new service station of the company “Krone” was established for maintenance of semi-trailers. On the stage of choosing the partners we carried out the proper analysis but better than by figures we were persuaded by the quantity of semi-trailers “Krone” which are operated in different ways only in the western area. In the course of the following talks we cleared up the real quantity of semi-trailers of this brand, which were got for Ukraine through the company Krone, and we also received the information of the number of semi-trailers of this brand which are operated in the Eastern Europe. As a result we became interested in creating the service station for maintenance of semi-trailers Krone. As a positive feature the quality of manufacture and assemblage of the chassis of semi-trailers of the company Krone and a general reliability of these semi-trailers are worthy of note. In the contract signed with the company Krone there is a point where it is stipulated that we can carry out repairs of any semi-trailers which are manufactured by the European producers. This gives additional guarantees in our quick-changing life. As to a guarantee service, in May, 2002 the contract was signed about the creation of the service station where it was stipulated that the company Krone entrusts to the company “Kamaz-Trans-Service” to support all guarantee obligations of the company Krone. Thus we can carry out without agreement with the central office any work connected with the guarantee of the company Krone. The area allotted for the service station amounts to 18 x 18 m2 but there are 3 posts here for repairs has no lifting gear. It is situated along the long pit (16,5 m2) that allows to bring the truck with a semi-trailer into the zone with heating without disconnection during repairs. The post is equipped with several high-powered lifts for carrying out repairs that is in any case connected with lifting the axles of semi-trailers. At another post the fixed lift is installed that allows to lift completely the semi-trailer for substitution of air-cushions and axles assembled. At the third post the twelve-ton lift, 9 metres long is installed which is used only for repairs of semi-trailers. But it lifts the semi-trailers weighing till 8 tons to the level of man’s height. As to the parking place the territory of our company with an area of 5 ha is used for this purpose. 9 highly qualified mechanics carry out maintenance of semi-trailers under the guidance of the senior foreman. The service station operates from 7.00 to 22.00 without days off. In the nearest future our service station will be entered in the register of service stations Krone and will carry out 24 hours repairs of semi-trailers of the foreign carriers if the problems appear with them in Ukraine. |
